A series of theatrical performances at the picturesque bridge over the River Spey at Craigellachie marked the start of celebrations to coincide with the 250th anniversary of the birth of Thomas Telford (1757 – 1834). Written by Susan McClymont and David Grey Buchanen, more than 25 professional and amateur actors played out various scenes during the 40 minute interacve production.

Some were factual, others mythical, from periods before and aUer the Craigellachie Bridge was built in 1814.
